"All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we're giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That's one of the things that connects us as neighbors - in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver." Fred Rogers

Academics

Leadership

Leadership

We encourage girls and young women to thrive academically, reach high school graduation and beyond.

We provide weekly mentoring and academic support - while teaching essential life skills and integrating social-emotional learning. Our programs serve girls in the southern tip of Greenville County, helping them grow academically, emotionally, and personally.

We work with 4th grade through high school students and beyond.

Through out partnership with Anderson University Teaching Fellows, we are now serving 4th grade girls at Calhoun Academy in Anderson, South Carolina.

The school recommends girls to our program.

'I am an achiever Award'

We help girls and young women reach their God-given potential by providing opportunities for them to strengthen their voice and uplift their communities.

We desire for girls and young women to see their full worth and value.

We provide opportunities for our girls to serve those in their community through impactful acts of kindness.

'I am an achiever Award'

The Miriam Foundation hosts this awards program at schools in southern Greenville County. The Achiever Award is given to a student who has overcome obstacles and is recommended by a staff member at their school. The Miriam Foundation reviews the nominations and awards students on a quarterly basis.

We visit the school and present the award in the student’s classroom to celebrate the student for their accomplishments.
